How Can I Become Certified In Cpr And First Aid?
I need my certification in CPR and First Aid before I can start my new job. I have looked some Red Cross centers in my area, but there are no classes available in the next two weeks. Where else can I get a valid certification? (I’m from NJ if that helps!)

Besides military training, the most widely accepted certifications are the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, and National Safety Council. There are some others, but these are the ‘big boys’.
If none of them are doing it in time for you, try your local fire dept., hospitals, YMCA, community colleges. health professions schools, or independent CPR instructors in your area (sometimes you can find them by googling CPR and your city).
It surprises me that they are not offering one in the next two weeks at your Red Cross- ours usually runs two or three classes a week in that topic.

Call around some of the hospitals, they have CPR classes for new employees all the time, maybe they could let you attend.

look up on the internet CPR Certification Program and put in your zipcode.
