Depending upon the sources of your aid, it could; for example, any honors scholarships are likely out the window. As a general rule, you need to pass at least 24 academic credits per school year to remain eligible for full-time status financial aid. Usually that breaks into 12 credits per semester, but it could be 9 one semester and 15 the next. Probably you will have until the end of your first year to pass enough credits, but you really should check with your school’s financial aid office to be sure.
Check with your academic adviser regarding your possible probationary status, too. I believe you will find that you must pass those courses required by your major with a C or better for them to count toward graduation.
As you have just learned the hard way, it is better to take fewer courses and do well in them than to take too many and kill yourself trying without success. Back off a little, settle for 12 to 15 credits per term. I know it’s hard to choose among all the interesting-looking classes. I remember drooling over each semester’s class schedule as if it were the Sears Christmas Catalog, but you really cannot do it all at once.

There are some loans and grants that will be taken away from you if you fall below 2.5 (for me at least. I do not know how it works for others) For example, I have an art scholarship because I do a lot of artwork for the art department as a Visual Arts Education major and if I go below a 2.5, I lose it. Also, I am pretty sure you are under probation. I have not heard of a school that did not put their students under academic probation if their score fell under 2.5 or whatever them limit is (which I am sure is definitely over 2.0)

NOT AT ALL. U WILL MAYBE BE ON SAP PROHBATION UNTIL U GET TO A 2.0 AGAIN BUT UR FINANCIAL AID IS NOT EFFECTED, U MUST SEE UR ACADEMIC ADVISORS. AND U ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR EARLY REGISTRATION.
